My most worn me-made: a Tilly & the Buttons jungle-themed Stevie dress.
My wardrobe gaps: I have all the dresses! I wish I’d made more culottes, trousers, midi & maxi skirts in 2019. Activewear, particularly leggings with a phone pocket are also on the list…
Favourite new make: my Sew Over It Poppy Playsuit, and the lockdown headbands and scarves I whipped up.

Best old favourite: the My Style diarry gathered ruffle top in a ditsy print cotton lawn (and my True Bias Ogden camis of course).
My least worn project: my Flamingo print Tilly & the Buttons Agnes (it was way too hot for long sleeves!).
Most wanted pattern: the Megan Nielsen Brumby, in a midi skirt length with all the pockets.
Favourite me-made item from another insta-sewist: @whatabimakes By Hand London Jenna dress with added ruffle tier. In a gorgeous vintage floral print, the sleeve ties are a really great feature – WANT!
Images of all my Me Made May garments are published in my Instagram feed. I hope you enjoyed #MeMadeMay2020 whether you chose to take part or not. Taking part at the weekends was practical, inspiring, fun and a great tool to connect with other members of the sewing community 💕 – next stop updating my Trello list of sewing plans…
Much love, Emma x
