Sew Over It Ultimate Shift Dress Pattern Hack, a Minerva Crafts product review

My first product review has been published on the Minerva Crafts blog today, I talk openly about my first attempt at sewing a shift dress with their fox print crepe fabric and discuss the tools I used to simplify the process.

I hope that you will be inspired to sew with a crepe if you have not yet attempted to sew a pattern with a delicate, fine fabric. My post provides some useful tips and tricks, as well as an exciting on trend sleeve hack!

Sixties style shift dresses are definitely my inspiration for the dress, a la Twiggy, Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s (1961) and Karen Gillan as Jean Simpson in We’ll Take Manhattan (2012).

Thanks for reading, you are welcome to leave any questions about this project in the comments section on the Minerva Crafts blog.

Happy sewing!
